Our Story

 Pitt Viper BBQ was founded by owner, Brandon Rivera. Brandon has over 20 years of experience in barbecue. He started out competing in cook offs with his team, Joking and Smoking. He was very successful in many of the competitions that he attended, but dreamed for something more. 

On December 4th 2018, Pitt Viper BBQ opened its doors. 1274 N. Mechanic St El Campo, TX was our original address. The three and a half years at the little red building were a great success! The community welcomed us with open arms and we are happy that we were able to provide great food at a great price. We won the community's annual "Best of Wharton County" #1 Barbecue restaurant in 2019,2021 and 2022. Accolades like this don't drive us, although it is nice to be acknowledged. We are driven by serving our customers and providing the best experience possible.

 On September 20th 2022 we relocated to our brand new spot on the corner of the Midcoast Health Plex in El Campo, TX. We are excited to finally have a full service restaurant to provide even more to community. We invite you to come check out everything we have to offer!
